On Wednesday, 1 February 2023, Undip held a KAP RSM Entry Meeting in the context of a general Kick Off Audit of the Consolidated Financial Statements for the Year Ending 31 December 2022. This activity was carried out offline in the Undip Chancellor’s Meeting Room. The activity started at 11.30 WIB starting with remarks and directions from Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum, Chancellor of Diponegoro University.
In this entry meeting, Mr. Amir Abadi Jusuf, Mr. Aryanto, and Mrs. Mawar, as representatives from KAP RSM conveyed the Audit Issue at Diponegoro University.
Apart from being a form of transparency of financial conditions, the Audit of Financial Statements has very important functions, including:
a. Assists 3 lines of defense. Inform the focus of attention of stakeholders;
b. As one of the early warning systems for process, control, personnel, technology, and industry issues;
c. Giving confidence to all parties regarding financial information and other information submitted by UNDIP to the Board of Trustees (MWA), regulators, and other parties;
d. Audits that are forward-looking and smooth and provide value from the start; And
e. Constructively provide appropriate challenges and early insights through audits.
The audit of the Financial Statements by KAP RSM lasted for approximately 1 month, namely until the fourth week of February 2023.
The Audit Closing meeting will be held in the 4th week of February 2023. Meanwhile, the Audited Financial Report will be published on March 31, 2023.
